Sad Café

Sad Café were an English rock band, formed in Manchester in 1976 as a result of the unification of rock bands Mandala and Gyro. They are best known for the song "Every Day Hurts", which reached number 3 in the UK Singles Chart in 1979.


Magazine are an English post-punk group active from 1977 to 1981, then reformed in 2009. Their debut single, "Shot by Both Sides", is now acknowledged as a classic track.

Johnny Marr

Johnny Marr (born John Martin Maher) is an English musician and songwriter. Marr rose to fame in the 1980s as the guitarist in The Smiths, with whom he formed a prolific songwriting partnership with Morrissey. Marr has been a member of Electronic, The The and Modest Mouse. In 2008, he joined The Cribs after touring with them on 2008's NME Awards Tour, a group in which he would remain until 2011.
